Epoxy, polyurethane and hybrid resin systems for every industrial and commercial flooring application in Botswana.
Epoxy resin systems are the most widely specified resin floor coating for industrial and commercial environments. They offer excellent compressive strength, chemical resistance, and a hard-wearing seamless surface that is easy to clean and maintain.
PourEpoxy installs epoxy systems ranging from thin-film anti-dust coatings to high-build multi-layer systems with broadcast aggregate. The correct specification depends on your substrate condition, traffic loading, chemical exposure and aesthetic requirements.
Polyurethane floor coatings offer greater thermal flexibility than standard epoxy systems, allowing the coating to move with the substrate under temperature cycling. This makes them the preferred choice for environments subject to significant temperature variation.
Polyurethane systems also provide excellent impact resistance and long-term durability in environments where epoxy may become brittle over time. They are not recommended for continuously wet or exterior exposed areas without specific confirmation from the product data sheet.
High-build polyurethane mortar for environments with heavy mechanical loading, forklift traffic, thermal shock or chemical exposure. The polyurethane binder provides greater flexibility and impact resistance than epoxy mortar, making it suited to food processing, cold storage, loading bays and production areas subject to wash-down, temperature swings or aggressive cleaning chemicals.
A hybrid cementitious urethane mortar system that combines the strength of cement with the flexibility of polyurethane. Highly resistant to thermal shock — used extensively in commercial kitchens, brewery and food production environments where floors are subject to steam cleaning and sudden temperature changes. Applied at 6–9mm thickness.
Epoxy mortar systems for heavy-duty industrial applications where compressive strength is the priority. Suitable for loading bays, ramps and areas with very high point loading. Broadcast with aggregate for a hard, slip-resistant surface. Less flexible than polyurethane mortar but extremely durable under static load.
Broadcast aggregate, aluminium oxide or quartz sand can be incorporated into any resin system to achieve the required slip resistance for your application. We specify slip resistance to the requirements of your environment — from light commercial to high-traffic wet processing areas. Slip resistance is specified and confirmed at quotation stage.
Surface preparation is the most critical factor in resin flooring performance. A correctly specified and applied system will fail prematurely if applied to a poorly prepared substrate. This is non-negotiable — we will not install a resin floor over a substrate that is not adequately prepared.
Every PourEpoxy installation begins with a substrate assessment covering concrete strength, surface condition, moisture content, existing coatings, and contamination. Preparation is specified to meet the adhesion requirements of the system being installed.
Tell us about your floor — substrate, environment, traffic and area size — and we'll specify the right system with a realistic price range.
